A coffee machine manufactured back in 2009 arrived at our shop—an extremely worn-out appliance: degraded gaskets, scale-clogged hydraulics, stretched valves, and cracked circuit boards with burnt chips.

If the machine originally cost 3,000 MDL, for instance, and maintenance exceeds that amount, it is better to purchase a new bean-to-cup machine (~7,000 MDL), capsule machine (~2,500 MDL), or drip maker (~3,000 MDL).
Basic Maintenance (avg. 1,699 MDL) is standard preventive service—just like an oil change for a car. It includes 5-stage deep sanitization, hydraulic descaling, grinder cleaning, and O-ring seal kit replacement.
A Repair is only needed if a mechanical or electrical component has physically failed (e.g., burnt pump, cracked connector, jammed valve). In this case, only the exact cost of the replacement part is added to the maintenance package, which you approve prior to any work.

No, it is free. It remains completely free even if you decide not to proceed with us or decline the repair.
It needs lubrication because friction acts between moving parts, causing them to wear, squeak, and degrade over time.
Descaling is great, and good for you for doing it, but it has nothing to do with lubrication. Descaling removes limescale/water deposits, while lubricant prevents friction wear. Both are essential!
We don't recommend citric acid, but we don't strictly forbid it either. We recommend dedicated descaling solutions (20–40% pricier, but effective, gentle on the machine, and compliant with store warranty requirements).
⚠️ Never use vinegar to clean your espresso machine! Although a popular household hack, acetic acid in vinegar severely degrades rubber seals, leaves a persistent odor inside internal components, and permanently ruins coffee flavor. To enjoy great coffee day after day, use dedicated descaling solutions only.
Because the cycle wasn't completed correctly (the machine didn't register that it was completed, so it keeps alerting) or the water hardness is set to 4/4 (very hard tap water) and the machine calculates that it's due based on the flowmeter volume.
Reset the hardness setting, but note: use soft (filtered) water so as not to mislead the calculation system.
We create a pickup order directly from your address (e.g., Hîncești district, Lăpușna village, 10 Grigore Vieru St.). The customer securely packs the machine in a box, seals it, and labels it "FRAGILE".

completely drain all water from the machine (tank and drip tray) and remove coffee beans from the hopper. Include all accessories, milk carafe, and extra spouts. We then create the return delivery order to the same address following the same procedure. Couriers will call you in advance. Payment upon final delivery.
